SIDA Training (Generic)
Airports that operate under Federal Aviation Regulation are required to implement secure identification display area procedures and give yearly training on those SIDA procedures. The security training program educates airport managers and employees on security threats such as terrorism, aircraft theft, drug trafficking and unauthorized airport entry and equips them to effectively deal with those threats. In this program, you will learn what your responsibilities are for your airport's security plan, identify badge rules and regulations, and provide an overview of proper escort procedures, securing access areas, challenge and escort procedures, restrictions on disclosing Sensitive Security Information, or SSI, as required by 14 CFR Part 1542.
